The HIV Champions Academy will equip champions to initiate culture change and increase HIV capacity at their healthcare centers, ultimately working to end the HIV epidemic in the Southeast.
The program will primarily focus on clinical topics related to HIV in primary care and other non-specialty care settings. The Novice track will feature training on how to implement HIV testing, sexual history taking, and prevention, while the Intermediate track will cover slightly more advanced topics such as low-level viremia and substance use disorder in HIV.
