The Practice Transformation (PT) Lead is located at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Research and Informatics Service Center (RISC), in association with the Center for AIDS Research (CFAR). The PT Lead team coordinates PT partners to achieve the goal, “to transform selected clinical practices and to build the capacity of the selected organizations to provide quality HIV care.” UAB provides regional PT trainings and technical assistance, co-hosts the monthly PT community of practice, conducts program evaluation, and develops the online PT Curriculum in both English and Spanish.
