This educational conference is designed for all health care professionals and staff. Its objective is to emphasize the role of the Peer Navigator, HIV care and prevention, new injectable HIV treatment options, and solutions that will enhance primary care. Participants will have the opportunity to assess challenges primary care practitioners face as they treat patients with gender identification. Analyze updates to practice guidelines and recommendations for motivational interviewing, screening, and evaluating patients presenting with illnesses commonly encountered in primary care.
