Deconstructing Racism is a new webinar series from the Southeast AETC focused on race, racism, stigma, other intersecting forms of oppression, and the impact of these factors on HIV prevention, healthcare delivery along the HIV Care Continuum, and HIV outcomes for people of color. The goal of this series is to equip participants with tools to actively be anti-racist in HIV care and ultimately, life. Webinars have been structured to build upon each other, providing participants the opportunity to expand their knowledge incrementally, taking time to think about how to incorporate what they’ve learned into their practices. Each 60-minute session is followed by a 30-minute facilitated discussion with participants to consider ways to provide anti-racist HIV prevention and healthcare delivery.
